Macaron Recipes To Try

I am dying to try making Macarons. I have never eaten one before, but they are so adorable! I fall in love every time I see one. So, here is a little collection of Macarons I want to try making someday. Possibly in the very near future (if I can figure out where to buy whole skinned almonds or almond flour).

Edit--3/5/11 11:30 pm--I ate my first Macaron this afternoon...it was awesome! I was a little disappointed that the only one I could find was a pistachio flavored macaron...but it was good great. I was pleasantly surprised that there was a chewy texture. If possible, I am now more intrigued by these cute little cookies than I was before. I am even more excited to make my own now. I have my eggs resting at room temperature and I bought almonds...I should be all set for Experiment Macaron on Monday!! Stay tuned!

Tartelette - Lemon Meringue Macarons

Maybe I need to mention that I currently have 10 ripe lemons on my cupboard waiting to be used in some delicious concoction. So, here we go again...Also this links up to a basic Macaron recipe that is probably a good "go to" macaron recipe. (As if looking at pictures on the internet and reading recipes makes me an expert!!).
